What’s in My Cart? | GAP Edition
Sale season = cart season. And right now my Gap cart is looking like a whole moodboard.
Explain to me why every time there’s a big sale, I suddenly think I’m a professional cart curator? Gap’s 50% off right now, and of course I already have outfits styled in my head. Sadly, since I’m not getting paid to promote this (maybe one day 🤞), my wallet says I can’t buy it all, so I figured why gatekeep? Consider this my good deed for the day: four outfits, four moods, straight from my cart to yours.
1. Effortless
A camel cropped jacket over a simple tee with dark bootcut denim — this combo is minimal but instantly polished. The jacket gives structure, and the darker denim makes it feel elevated without being fussy. I’d wear this for Friday coffee catch-ups, casual museum strolls, or anywhere I want to look put together with zero effort.
2. Sleek
Black on black will always be the ultimate — simple, sharp, and instantly elevated. This midi dress layered with a tie-belt coat is one of those outfits you can throw on and feel instantly put together. Perfect for dinner, gallery nights, or any day-to-night moment. If you do want a little contrast, try a camel coat over the black dress (or a ribbed grey dress under the black coat) — but honestly, nothing beats black on black.
3. Sporty
Barrel jeans can look tricky at first, but paired with a cropped knit and quilted vest, they just work. The volume on the bottom feels intentional, and the vest adds structure up top. This is the look I’d throw on for weekend errands, farmers’ market runs, or even walking Jojo and Mojo when it’s chilly. Sporty, practical, but still cool.
4. Classic
Some things never miss: denim, a white tank, and a trench coat. This combo is timeless, smart, and versatile. It’s giving weekday commute but make it chic, or shopping-in-the-city with friends. If you want to switch it up, a striped tee would make it feel more Parisian — but I love the simplicity of the white tank for that clean, classic mood.
So that’s my Gap cart — four moods, four outfits, and a whole lot of temptation. I’ll be over here trying to decide which ones actually make it to checkout. If you snag something (or all!), promise me an outfit selfie so I can live through your sale-season wins. Deal? 😉
